0-19 service

The health visiting and school health service is an integrated service made up of locality teams of health visitors, public health school nurses, community staff nurses, nursery nurses, school health workers and nursing associates.

Health visiting for families with children 0-5 years

Health visiting teams consist of a number of professionals working together to support your child’s health and development. The team will support families and young children up to the age of 5 years old.

School health 5-11

The school nursing team comprises of a number of professionals working together to support your child’s health and development. The team will support families and children from their reception year onwards.  They work in locality teams and work closely within the community family hub ensuring that they have extensive knowledge of the local community and services.

School health 11-19

The school nursing team comprises of a number of professionals working together to support young people’s health and development.
