NHS oversight framework (NOF) segmentation and performance dashboard

As part of our commitment to transparency and improvement, NHS England has launched a new interactive dashboard under the NHS Oversight Framework 2025/26.

The dashboard provides a view of how NHS trusts are performing in key services.

This includes looking at:

  • Urgent and emergency care
  • Elective services
  • Mental health and more.

Using the dashboard, you can explore league tables that show how our trust compares with others across England in individual services and at an overall level.

Our ranking is based on our performance in these services along with other considerations, such as overall level of financial deficit. Using this information, we have been placed into one of four core segments.

Segment 1 represents the organisations with the narrowest range of challenges while segment 4 contains those with the broadest. 

The trust is currently placed in segment 2.

The dashboard shows what segment each trust is in, as well as the data that has been used to make this decision.
