Dr Nishanthi Thalayasingam

Dr Nishanthi Thalayasingam is a consultant rheumatologist at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle with specialist interests in inflammatory arthritis and metabolic bone disease.

Biography

Dr Nishanthi Thalayasingam graduated in Medicine from Oxford University in 2004 and undertook her postgraduate clinical training in Rheumatology in Edinburgh and the North East of England.

During her training she was awarded a clinical research fellowship by the Wellcome Trust and studied B cells in rheumatoid arthritis. She was awarded a PhD from Newcastle University.
