Mr Alistair Jenkins is a Consultant Neurosurgeon specialising in neurovascular, skull base and pituitary tumours; trigeminal neuralgia, pain, functional and paediatric neurosurgery.

Mr Alistair Jenkins is a Consultant Neurosurgeon at the RVI’s Neurosciences Centre where he specialises in neurovascular, skull base and pituitary tumours, trigeminal neuralgia, pain, functional neurosurgery and paediatric neurosurgery.

Mr Jenkins trained in Glasgow, Manchester and Liverpool and has been a Consultant in Newcastle since 1990.

He has had publications in areas including epilepsy surgery and paediatric neurosurgery and is past-President of the Society of British Neurological Surgeons.

Visiting Professorships in India, Greece, Pakistan, Serbia; Invited lectures also in Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Brazil, Oman, France, South Africa, China.
