Mr Stefan Plusa is a Consultant colorectal surgeon specialising in functional bowel disorders and pelvic floor dysfunction at the Royal Victoria Infirmary.
Mr Plusa graduated from Leeds University in 1984 and carried out his surgical training in Manchester, Chester, Portsmouth, Leeds and Newcastle upon Tyne where he was appointed Consultant Colorectal Surgeon in 1998.
Mr Plusa’s special interests are in the management of functional bowel disorders and pelvic floor dysfunction. He is a member of The Pelvic Floor Society.
Mr Plusa was previously Programme Director for General and Core Surgery, and a previous member of the SAC in General Surgery, JAG and National Recruitment Board for General Surgery.
