Ward 10 is an adult ear, nose and throat surgical ward, which looks after people who need surgery including procedures on the tonsils, sinuses, upper airways and inner ears.
Ward visiting times
Monday to Friday 2-4pm and 6-8pm
Saturday and Sunday 2-8pm
I wish I could leave 10 stars for these wonderful people in Ward 10 who created a positive, caring, professional environment for all patients in their care. I felt very safe in their hands & in no doubt I was receiving the best care I possibly could. Everything was explained clearly. Every member of staff always had time to answer questions. If an individual couldn't answer it they would get someone who could, always giving you their time. I was never patronised which is very important as you are getting older. It was un uplifting experience being there created by the top notch staff which must speed up recovery. The food was very good too!
Location of ward
Ward 10 is on Level 5 at Freeman Hospital. From the Main Entrance walk past the reception desk and follow the corridor, passing the shop and hairdressers. Turn left and take the stairs or lift up one floor to level 5 and follow the signs for Ward 10.
