We work closely with North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust (NCIC) to provide a combined cancer treatment service in Carlisle.
The service includes:
- A chemotherapy day unit with treatment chairs and single treatment rooms
- The latest technology for scanning and radiotherapy treatment
- Consultation and examination rooms, used for outpatient appointments
- A café run by People First
- Multipurpose rooms for complementary therapies and patient support
Our experienced teams are made up of clinical oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, therapeutic radiographers and nurses.
Patients requiring very specialist radiotherapy, along with children and young people with cancer, will be referred to the Northern Centre for Cancer Care at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle.
