The nominations for election to the Newcastle Hospitals’ Council of Governors are now open.
Seats are available across all three of the Trust’s public constituencies in:
- Newcastle upon Tyne;
- Northumberland, Tyne and Wear (excluding Newcastle); and
- North East (to include the rest of England).
There are also four Staff Governor seats up for election in the following classes:
- Admin and Clerical, Managerial & Chaplains;
- Ancillary and Estates;
- Nursing and Midwifery and related; and
- Volunteers.
To be eligible to vote and stand as a Governor, you must first be a member of our Foundation Trust. If you aren’t already a member, you can sign up here.
